Land Acknowledgement

The acreage on which Cap & Stalk Gourmet Mushrooms resides is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg. The Anishinaabeg include the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Pottawatomi nations, collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy. 

Cap & Stalk Gourmet Mushrooms not only acknowledges the history that many nations hold both on and around the area of our residence; Cap & Stalk Gourmet Mushrooms is also an advocate for and stands in solidarity with the Landback, Idle No More, and MMIWG2S movements that battle the ongoing genocide against Indigenous peoples, cultures, traditions, and lands. 

We will continue growing our business based on the principles of mutual trust, respect, reciprocity, and collaboration in the spirit of reparations for the Anishinaabeg communities.
